Apr 24, 2008 INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE? In regard to your last post, I will try to include as much trace information as my time permits in the next release to assist in debugging. Thank you for the suggestion. INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE 0x800C0008: The download has failed (the connection was interrupted). INET_E_ERROR_FIRST 0x800C0002: The lowest allowed value for an URL.

Hello,
since today, (or yesterday as the chance is some people were to lazy to report it )if someone goes on www.google.de (at, ch and some others also) using Edge or Internet Explorer, an error INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE occurs.
Now, it worked 2 days ago for sure, and it works if i use Firefox or Chrome, Opera.
Anyone else having issues like that? Did Google change something? Some fight in the background with Microsoft?
Just throw those firmware files on your (internal or external) SD card, start Mobile ODIN and flash away.!!! Mobile odin pro apk free download. Your device must be rooted to be able to use Mobile ODIN.
Update and some info:
The case is only for Windows 10 PC's (ver 1803,1709), W8 and lower have no issues.
Google.co.uk, google.pl, google.fr and some others work.
Tried ie/edge restored to default, cache cleared, checked proxy settings.
New lead: Update KB4284848 could be the cause for that.

I am getting the following error from my website:
The connection to the website was reset. Download from 4shared without account. Error Code: INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE
The website is available on Firefox and Chrome, but will not display on IE/Edge.We host this site on our webserver. All other websites are ok.This is an older Aspx Web application using CLR v2.
I have tried a couple of fixes suggested by Microsoft:
The Error Code: INET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE means that the connection was interrupted or it failed to download the content. Let's start by restoring the advanced settings in the Internet Options.
Go to Internet Options (type it in the Cortana search box) > Advanced tab > click Restore advanced settings > uncheck 'Do not save encrypted pages to disk.' After that, click Apply and OK. Let us know how it went by posting back.
Which had no effect also I cleared the browser cache, flushed the DNS via IpConfig and even set up a new website in IIS with a new App Pool, all to no effect.
The error message is very generic so I am a bit lost, especially as the site is visible to FF and Chrome.
Any help greatly appreciated

I had the similar problem and in my case it seems to be caused by cached credentials. To ensure that you have the same root cause do the following:
- Enable Developer Tool in IE (F12)
- Open Network tab
- Try to open your web site URL
- If you get 401 Unauthorized error then the problem most likely is there
To fix that:
- Open IE 'Internet options'
- Open Advanced tab
- Uncheck 'Enable Integrated Windows Authentication' checkbox
After that you will be always prompted to enter credentials when you open your web site in new instance of IE, but at least this will solve the problem.
Another option is probably to clean Credentials Manager, but i didn't manage to find exactly this record.
